HAPPY SEPTEMBER! I hope everyone had a lovely Labor Day weekend. We had a nice family trip down to Southern Illinois and took advantage of great scenery and wonderful local breweries and vineyards. And now here we are. Almost fall. But that’s OK  - we embrace the seasons around here and fall is definitely my favorite.

We’re still deep in our season, and I want to make sure everyone understands what is going on around here with the crops. I have had a few people ask about things, and looking for things we might normally have but don’t.

Nature is fickle. I just want to make sure this is clear. It has been a challenging summer, but all we can do is keep growing and hope our supporters will keep growing with us.

That’s it for this week. As usual, come visit us at our markets this week - Elgin on Thursday, Rockford on Friday, and Huntley on Saturday. We only have a few weeks lefts in Rockford, and please note that the market there will end at 7PM starting this week. And you’re always welcome to stop on by the farm!
