Hello and Happy July! I hope you all had a wonderful 4th.

Things continue to be hot and dry around here. We did get lucky and had some rain last week, and it looks like more is on the way, so we’re thankful for that. Fortunately we did not get hit with any of the really nasty stuff, so we’re counting our blessings there.

We continue to be busy with field-related activities. We’re always trying to stay on top of the weeds and keep things moist. We spent some more time this week stringing up beans and stringing and pruning up tomatoes.

Also, a lot of you have been asking about peaches. We are planning on going to get some this summer, but most likely it will be in August. We will definitely let everyone know well ahead of time so you can all get your orders in.

Half share people, this is an odd week – that’s you Wheaton, and some of Elgin. Remember to pick up by 8, and please return your bins (PLEASE!!).
