Hello friends! –

Can you believe it’s the end of July already?! This summer is just flying by! But there’s plenty more to go, and some things are just getting started – we definitely have tomatoes and cucumbers this week, so get out to those markets early because they’ll go fast!

We made it down to Alto Pass this weekend, and, as those of you who ordered know, made it back with some gorgeous peaches.

Also, we have 2 extra shares available this week. These include the same things as the regular CSA bins and sell for $40. It is first come, first served on these, so if you want one let us know right away, either by calling, email, or facebook.

In other news, we have started seeding some cover crop on the Elgin field – we seeded 12 pounds of turnips last week, and will seed more of those as well as some tillage radishes, which will help break up the soil while adding nutrients at the same time.

Help Momma Marcy Saturday  at the Poplar Grove farm from 10am until 2pm or so.
