7/24/13 Newsletter

These summer days just keep getting more and more gorgeous – and our plants are loving it! We are starting to see some of those real summer foods – tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, cucumbers – and it won’t be long before we have more than we know what to do with.

We have been busy here trying to control the weeds and stringing up beans and tomatoes. There’s pretty much always something that needs doing, and this time of year we are pretty much always busy doing it.

We will be taking a trip south this weekend to pick up the first run. If you have ordered peaches and gotten a confirmation email from us telling you to pick up on Tuesday the 29th, then we’ll be ready for you (if you have ordered and not gotten an email, please let us know right away!).

Also, more Help Farmer Trogg this Saturday in Elgin.  Thanks to everyone who has been coming out.
