Hey everyone –

Well, aren’t we all just a little bit wet.

Everything is kind of a wet swampy mess out there. Things are growing, that’s for sure, but man is it soggy. At least we don’t have to water. Oh, and the ducks are loving it.

In addition to wading through the fields and adding markets, we’ve been preparing for this weekend’s Midsommer Festival. I hope you can all make it – OK, I don’t actually expect all of you to make it, but a good percentage. Even if it rains, it will be a good time, and there’s plenty of places to take cover.

Midsommer festival is this Saturday from 3pm until you go home.  Remember it’s a potluck and the last potluck was awesome.  And, Sarah has made ginger beer to add to our regular water and iced tea selection.

The local producers we’ll have this time are Tickle Body Care, Naturally Naked Foods, Early Bird Farms, Be Clean All Natural Soaps and our new friend Danielle who is an awesome Scandinavian style painter and artist.  We’ll also have the wonderful Rebecca Haldeman playing selections from her music portfolio. And, Stephen Day will demonstrate two sommersets he’ll undertake on solid ground.
