Hi Everyone and welcome to the last week of May,

Can you believe it’s almost June?! Summer always surprises me like this, and we spend months planning for it, so you would think I would be ready. Well, I AM ready, just, wow – it’s almost June.

Now, on that note, many people have been asking about the start dates for the CSA this year. It will be slightly delayed because of the weird early “Spring” we had, and as of right now we are planning to start the second week of June (the week of the 10th).

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Huntley market last week. It was a great start to the year and wonderful to meet so many new people. We’ll be there every Saturday, so come see us.

Also, as a head’s up to those of you who like to plan ahead, we are planning our next farm event. It will take place on Saturday June 29th, starting at 3PM. Like last time, we will have some local producers for a couple of hours, as well as a soap-making demonstration, music, a pot luck, and bonfire.

We are proud to announce a new partnership with our local YMCA in Loves Park. Trogg’s Hollow and the Northeast YMCA are creating “The Share Project”. We are donating two full shares to needy families in the Rockford area.

Happy birthday Auntie Amie!
