Another beautiful, productive week on the books. This weather has been fabulous! We are so thankful and excited to be back out and getting fields prepped and plants in the ground. Both the Poplar Grove and Elgin farms have been plowed and tilled and beds have been made – and now we plant!

First ever Planting Potluck Party this Saturday, May 18, from 9-2. Many of you have asked about helping out on the farm, and not only does the planting need to get done, but it’s one of the more fun jobs out in the field. We have a ton of stuff to put in, so anyone itching to get out and work, come on over. And stay for lunch! Bring a dish and we’ll have a nice farmy potluck after we finish for the morning.

Take a look on the left at our market schedule as well as our new market dilemma.  We really need some input to help us figure out what is going to best for yous guys and us guys.

Finally, we need to talk about 2013 shares.  We still have them available.  Tell your family.  Tell your friends.  Buy one for your mom and dad.  It may sound wierd but we do have people buying shares for other people.  Do it.  We haven't reashed our goal of 50 full shares yet.  Please help us get there.

AND! Momma Marcy's Kitchen recipes are back.
